In producing the Titanium VME Mk.II Flashlight we went back to refine our offering. While the original Ti VME delights with its nature of pulling you forward, eager to light the way, the Mk.II moves its center of gravity closer to the hand. Our customers like you demand the absolute best. While our MDC is built and designed to be the best tool lights on the market today, some people ache for the heirloom quality of Titanium, the long sought-after element for its impervious resistance to daily corrosion and beautiful raw metal finish.

Machining titanium requires extra durable cutting tools and additional care to maintain precision tolerances and finish quality, but we think it’s worth it. Which is why we’ve made the VME available in Titanium, paired with the unmistakable elegance and rugged character of the legendary McGizmo Tri-Pak body.

Titanium is known for its extreme durability, and the fully potted engine construction of the included M361 Light Engine ensures that the Titanium VME Mk.II will survive the harshest treatment.

Unlike virtually every other flashlight on the market, the Titanium VME Mk.II uniquely offers tool-less engine replacement, allowing you to swap out your Light Engine as your mission requires, or as technology improves in the years to follow. Your children, grand children, great grandchildren, and so on, will be able to pocket the VME Ti, carrying your legacy with them, without being locked into the capabilities it ships with today.

With the introduction of the Mk.II, the Titanium VME Flashlight comes now equipped with the stunning McGizmo Tri-Pak. We find this pairing delightful, the transition from head to body more gentle and coherent, transforming the feel of the entire package to stout and steadfast, without losing any of original's classic sleek appeal.

The new Tri-Pak body is carved entirely out of solid titanium, featuring 24 precision machined triangular divots each with an astonishing swirl pattern that celebrates decades of American manufacturing excellence. But this unique innovation was built first with purpose, and a distant second for its beauty. In keeping with the workhorse nature of the Titanium VME Flashlight, the triangular divots covering the Mk.II's Tri-Pak body were designed by Don McLeish to address the harsh nature of the wet, salty, sandy environs he calls home.

Every triangular divot is individually milled more than 2-3x as deep as any nearly any other type of grip pattern ever employed on an every-day carry flashlight, for an extremely secure grip in the dirtiest, wettest conditions. Yet even with such powerful texture, the placement and shape of the divots present enough smooth unbroken surface to fabric as it slides over the clip, reducing wear and tear on your clothes. The raised lip that meets the classic McGizmo titanium pocket clip completes the secure pocket retention, ensuring the Titanium VME Mk.II will be your reliable pocket companion for decades to come.

Supplied with the M361 Light Engine and industry-leading Nichia 519A emitter, the Titanium VME Mk.II shines a powerful 500 lumens that slices through darkness and offers near sunlight quality color rendition while keeping enough in reserve for you to get home on a single battery. Our emitter gives full spectrum light (Ra 98) and boasts an incredible red spectrum (R9 80+) while guaranteeing a pleasant, neutral white tint. The engine is rated for virtually infinite, tens of thousands of hours of service life and backed by Malkoff's lifetime warranty.

Specially made for the new release of the Titanium VME Mk.II, we've put the sm273 2700K emitter into the venerable M361 Light Engine, for a cozy warm hue that evokes safety and comfort during the coldest nights, while still guaranteeing the same ultra-high quality, full spectrum light you've come to expect from Kosen. This is a similar level of warmth to the "soft white" bulbs commonly used in bedroom lighting.

The full spectrum emitter is paired with a McR-series reflector. Legendary flashlight maker, Don McLeish, better known as McGizmo, designed the reflector not to waste a single lumen outside the range of human vision. Unlike many ultra-high lumen lights which blast photons scattershot, the McR directs every last photon into an optimal cone for foveal, central and mid-peripheral vision, beyond which light is considered wasted for most users. In the real world, you get an aesthetically pleasing beam tuned for color and detail discrimination, situational awareness, and depth perception.

The raw machined finish of the Titanium VME Mk.II will age gracefully with use, taking on a smooth, well-loved patina that will reflect its journey with you, without deforming from abuse the same way soft aluminum does. Every scuff, snail trail, scrape will add to its character, reflecting the serene beauty of the impermanence of life, each flashlight perfectly celebrating the personality and path of its owner. Or, in a key benefit over anodized aluminum, should you ever wish to restore your Titanium VME Mk.II to pristine perfection, the sturdy titanium body can be simply refinished to any style you prefer at the hands of an artisan refinisher such as our partner's titanium refinishing service.

Each order contains a fully built flashlight equipped with M361 Light Engine using Nichia 519A emitter, limited run Titanium VME head, and 16340 titanium McGizmo Tri-Pak body and clip. 500 lumens full spectrum neutral white light with supplied Light Engine.

16340 battery not included. We recommend the Vapcell T9 for the most output and runtime.

The ultimate tool light, designed to be entirely user-serviceable. Compatible with all Malkoff Light Engines (M61, M361, M31 and earlier legacy M30/M60 models). All parts are easily user-serviceable and replaceable. Light window, gasket, o-rings, clicky boot, and pocket clip all readily replaced or upgraded at user’s discretion.

In McGizmo's own language, each light may be delivered with its own unique character mark. While we take great care during the manufacturing and assembly process, our Titanium VME Flashlight demands a high price for the uncompromising build quality and high manufacturing standard, and not for any guarantee to housing cosmetics or collectability. These lights are intended for use and abuse over the course of a lifetime, or several, and not for safe-keeping and store of value.

It will easily illuminate objects at 350+ feet and will blind opponents within a 100 foot radius.

The switch debounce time is 150 milliseconds. The mode will advance each time the light is momentarily activated and the switch debounce time has passed.
This light USES ON TIME to determine mode switching. If the light is left ON for more than 1 second, the NEXT off/on cycle will return the light to low. If the light is NOT LEFT ON for 1+ seconds the NEXT off/on cycle will advance the mode. The off time has no relation to the mode switching of the light. In most normal use, the light will always come on in low.

This Flashlight was designed for rugged service from the ground up. It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil. This Item is Covered by Our Lifetime Warranty. [ed.
